IUP Punxsutawney Graduates First Class of Clinical Medial Assistant Students

IUP Punxsutawney is proud to announce the graduation of the first class of the Clinical Medical Assistant Program.

With a 100 percent placement rate, all four students secured full-time employment with benefits as clinical medical assistants throughout the area.

In just 18 months of classroom and lab training, students are prepared for a variety of career paths. Medical assistants work closely with doctors and nurses as key members of the health care team assisting with patient exams, drawing blood, maintaining medical records, medical billing and coding, and more!
