During her tenure at IUP, Stenger has demonstrated the importance service plays in her professional life through
her involvement in community programs that have a very personal meaning for
her. Acting as a university representative when serving on community-based
committees, Stenger strives to make a positive contribution to “strengthen
the bond between the community and the university while providing opportunities
Beyond her service to the Exercise Science Majors Club, Stenger has served in a variety of other
roles, including APSCUF representative, university representative for the Active
Indiana Initiative, and university coordinator for WalkWorks. Additionally, Stenger is a member of the CHHS Recruitment and Advisement Committee and
