If you haven’t done so already, reach out to each of your instructors. Introduce yourself, and share one fun fact. It will help to establish a connection.
Maintain a balanced schedule that includes class time, homework time, breaks to recharge, social time, exercise, and time to eat and refuel.
Use a planner to organize your schedule. Look over each course syllabus carefully, and map out your assignments, discussions, projects, quizzes, and exams throughout the semester.

Make a list of things you need to get done. Set a goal or objective to target for the day or the week. What do you need to get done today? What do you need to get done this week? Write it down where you can quickly reference it.
Use a study guide. Try studying with a small group of classmates to prepare for your exams.
Eliminate distractions from your study sessions. And, don’t procrastinate. Schedule out your study time for each course, and stick to that schedule.
It’s never too late to get better at it.

Throughout the semester, make time for self-care. It means actively protecting your own well-being and happiness, particularly during times of stress. Taking breaks and caring for yourself help restore energy, produce positive feelings, and boost your
confidence. Practicing self-care reminds you and others that your needs, too, are important.
