IUP at Northpointe and IUP main campus students from Dr. Holly Travis' biology courses (along with friends they recruited to join them) volunteered their morning at the Crooked Creek Environmental Learning Center on Saturday, April 17, 2010.

They raked leaves, cleaned up branches, cleared deadfall from the poetry trail, filled in the hole from repairing the water leak, helped plant trees, trimmed out some invasive plants, moved furniture and cleaned tables at the Annex Building, and weeded around the main building. This spring workday helped prepare the building and grounds for the upcoming Open House on May 1 and other summer events and programs.
