Parking Authority Review Board, Section 6.0

  • 6.1 Organization 

    The board shall consist of one representative each from the faculty, management, noninstructional staff, undergraduate student body, and the graduate student body. Each segment shall establish its own rules for the selection of its representative. Each segment shall also choose alternate representatives. The term of the office shall be one year. Three voting members constitute a quorum. The chairperson shall be elected by the board, and the Assistant Vice President for Administration or his/her appointed representative shall be present and act as advisor to the PARB.

    6.2 Duties 


    The PARB shall hear and rule on appeals from individuals who feel that they have been unfairly ticketed, fined, and/or towed or booted.


    The PARB shall continue to examine the parking regulations and make recommendations. All recommendations for changes shall be forwarded to the following organizations for information and approval:

    • Parking Advisory Committee (makes recommendation)
    • Vice President for Administration and Finance (approval process)
    • Finance and Development Committee (information)
    • Senate (information)
    • President’s Cabinet (final approval)


    The PARB shall review requests for resident decals and requests for special parking permission.
