The College of Education and Communications requires that all education majors have a speech, language, and hearing screening for admission to the teacher certification program.
The IUP Speech, Language, and Hearing Clinic offers several walk-in clinics each semester for students to have their speech, language, and hearing screening completed. This screening is a required test
that determines if speech, language, and hearing are within normal parameters for performing the duties of a teacher.

During the fall 2019 semester, students can walk in to Davis Hall, Room 263, on the following dates to complete this screening:
No appointment is necessary. Please bring your I-Card and know your advisor’s name.
