Charitable gifts in support of IUP came in a variety of
ways during 2014-15. Please be sure to view Who Gave to IUP to see a

While the last year teemed with philanthropic highlights,
the most notable gift came from Tim and Deb Cejka, members of the Class of
1973. They added $1.75 million to a gift they made the previous year to support
initiatives in the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics.
Between July 1, 2014, and June 30, 2015, alumni and friends
established 17 new scholarships. Thanks to all scholarships available to IUP
through the Foundation for IUP, 1,375 students benefited from merit- and
While IUP looks to alumni and friends for charitable
support, 769 members of our own university community invested their
philanthropic support into the Foundation for IUP through the University Family
Drive. The total is the highest ever, supplying 220 different program and
scholarship funds with new support. Eighty-five employees were new donors,
while 40 different departments and offices reached 100 participation.
