Dean’s Merit Scholarships old

  • Students working together in a classroom

For some students, tuition is a struggle. Others may make ends meet for tuition but then might run out of funds for books and supplies.

Contributions to Dean’s Merit Scholarship funds enable each of the colleges to ensure each student can meet the most basic financial obligation to complete the chosen course of study.

When making a contribution to the Dean’s Merit Scholarship effort, you do have the option of choosing which college should benefit from your gift:

    • College Education and Educational Technology (5305)
    • Eberly College of Business and Information Technology (5310)
    • College of Fine Arts (5314)
    • College of Health and Human Services (5311)
    • College of Humanities and Social Sciences (5312)
    • College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics (5313)

Worthy of note: In 2010, IUP alumnus Ric Clark ’80 generously donated $50,000 that was spread across all the Dean’s Merit Scholarship funds and challenged alumni to match his contribution.
