Current internships* are posted on Handshake, which is a one-stop shop for students to prepare and launch their careers; and for companies, nonprofits, and organizations of all shapes and sizes to find, recruit, and hire IUP alumni. Handshake uses data to help students find jobs or internships that best match their interests.

- When you sign in to your account at iup.joinhandshake.com, you will then log in with your IUP SSO password.
- Complete Your Profile
- Add your work experiences, skills, interests, and organizations.
- Discover Jobs for You
- Browse collections of jobs based on your profile and interests.
*Please note: Most of IUP's internships and co-ops are handled at the department level. A field experience coordinator in your department will assist you with selecting an approved site and applying for the field experience. Please note that sites must be approved prior to your departure, and site approval may take as long as 45 days or more. Please plan ahead.
Registration for the Internship, Externship, Practicum, or Clinical course is required for you to receive credits. This is handled through the online registration system, MyIUP.
