IUP, Mountains Health Formalize Strategic Collaboration
On January 30, Indiana University of Pennsylvania and Mountains Health formalized the establishment of a collaboration designed to advance the health and wellness of the region, focusing on addressing rural healthcare needs.
More Reasons to Celebrate: Campaign Launches During Sesquicentennial Kickoff
On the day IUP officially began celebrating the 150-year anniversary of its founding as Indiana State Normal School, it also launched its largest-ever comprehensive fundraising campaign, called Impact 150. It was the Saturday before the start of fall classes, and under a hot August sun, the stadium parking lots came alive with a carnival to kick off the celebration.

History of IUP Exhibit Opens University Museum Season
To open the upcoming 2025–26 season at the IUP University Museum, join us for “IUP@150: Let’s Meet in the Oak Grove,” featuring the history of Indiana University of Pennsylvania since the doors to John Sutton Hall, the first campus building, opened on May 17, 1875.
IUP Student Creates Graphic for IUP Sesquicentennial T-shirt
Luke Leccia, a senior graphic design major at Indiana University of Pennsylvania from Elizabeth, won IUP’s 150th anniversary T-shirt design contest. Leccia was recognized for his award-winning design during Saturday's IUP 150th Carnival Celebration.

150 Volunteer Hour Challenge
Student groups, departments, offices, alumni groups, or individuals can pledge to volunteer 150 hours in our 150th year. Volunteer dates are May 17, 2025, to May 16, 2026.
