Sixty-five students from four regional high schools attended the annual Western Pennsylvania Junior Achievement Titan Business Challenge at the IUP Eberly College of Business and Information Technology on March 10, 2020.
The Titan Challenge is a business strategy tournament using an online business educational program. The competition is uniquely designed for teams of three high school students to use creativity, test leadership skills, and demonstrate the competitive nature of the free enterprise system. A team from Marion Center High School won this year's regional competition. Other participating school districts included Chestnut Ridge, Hollisdayburg Area, and Penns Manor.
Junior Achievement USA reaches more than 4.8 million students per year in 209,651 classrooms and after-school locations. JA programs are taught by volunteers in inner cities, suburbs, and rural areas throughout the United States.
Eberly College is pleased to annually host this business challenge and introduce regional prospective students to the IUP campus.
