Just a friendly reminder, as we enter the winter and holiday seasons, we are asking for your help in efforts both on campus and when working remotely from your office and classroom areas. Please make sure all auxiliary electric heaters are turned off and all windows are shut when exiting your campus work area.
In addition, we request that you set all office thermostats to 70 degrees when occupied and 65 degrees when unoccupied.
If you are on campus and notice no or low heat, particularly in untraveled areas such as entryways and stairwells, please contact the Facilities office at 724-357-2710 during business hours. After 4:00 p.m. and on weekends or holidays, please call University Police at 724-357-2141 so it may be addressed prior to any catastrophic freezing.
