Culinary Costs

    At IUP, we are committed to ensuring our students a world-class university education at an affordable cost.

    The following costs are for the 2020–21 year:

    Instructional Costs*

    • $7,848 per semester
    • No Charge for externship semester
  • Fees

    • Activity Fee: $525 per semester, fall and spring; $189 summer semester
    • Technology Fee: $239 per semester (Pennsylvania residents); $360 per semester (non-Pennsylvania resident)
    • Supply Package*:$1,500 (cost is pro-rated over four semesters at $375 per semester)
      This fee covers uniforms, supplies, and textbooks.
    • I-card Fee: $15 per year
    • Transportation Fee: $46 per semester
    • Parking: No charge. Students may elect to bring a car to campus.

    Costs listed are for Culinary Arts and Baking and Pastry semesters. Once these semesters are completed, students opting to continue on for the Culinary AAS degree or the BS degree will pay undergraduate tuition and fees found on the Bursar’s website.

    *Supply Package cost is $1,500, pro-rated over four semesters. Supplies will be distributed at the beginning of the year. Students will be financially responsible for the full cost.

    We offer suite-style living with the following options:

    • Four bedrooms, four beds, two bathrooms: $4,723 fall semester; $4,723 spring semester; $3,570 summer semester

    Dining Plan

    • 10 meals per week + $150 Flex: $1,549 per semester

    Off-Campus Housing
