Members of the IUP Geology Program will travel to Denver, Colorado, next week to present at the 2022 Geological Society of America meeting.
Jon Lewis, Nick Deardorff, and student Morgan Spatz will present their research and efforts towards educational initiatives in the Geosciences to attendees at the Geological Society of America annual meeting. This meeting gathers thousands of geoscientists together to share their work and plan for future projects.
There will also be IUP alumni presenting and attending, and we hope to see local alumni as well at an informal alumni gathering Tuesday evening at Tap 14.
A full schedule of talks and posters by IUP-affiliated scientists can be found on our program Facebook page.
