The Applied Research Lab (ARL) is open remotely for summer 2023.
The ARL will operate in a remote capacity Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., and is open to IUP students, faculty, and staff. A short list of services include:
- Research design, including data collection methods/procedures
- Quantitative/qualitative data analysis planning and support
- Support with Qualtrics, SPSS, Jamovi, R, and NVivo
For thesis and dissertation students, summer is an excellent time to make progress on your research plan or data analysis. Check in with your advisor/chair to discuss next steps, and then make an appointment with us so we can help you move forward. The ARL will work with you and your advisor/chair to equip you with resources and confidence. Let’s get to work!
Faculty, do you have a study or two that you have wanted to do, but just have not had the time and/or energy to put the methods together? The ARL can help you get your study going. Do you need to get that presentation together for your upcoming annual conference in the fall, or do you need to finish off the results/findings sections of a manuscript? We understand how much you have to manage as a teacher, scholar, and community member, and we can make a plan to get your data prepared and analyzed so that you can get your work out to the world.
Staff and administrators, if you are planning any sort of institutional/departmental type research, we are happy to provide our research expertise and offer empirically supported recommendations for any stage of your research plan.
