Join the IUP Career and Professional Development Center on Tuesday, March 1, at 6:00 p.m. in the Great Room in Elkin Hall for their second installment of this spring’s Career Ready Seminar Series, “Interviewing and Salary Negotiation: Tangible Tips and Tricks to Land Your Dream Job.”
Landing your dream job takes time, dedication, and preparation; however, with the right tools, tips, and tricks, anyone can do it! This includes things such as understanding interviewing techniques and learning how to effectively handle salary conversations. Join IUP CPDC Associate Director Kelsey Thompson for this informative session discussing all things interviewing and salary negotiation so when the time comes, you are prepared.
The Career and Professional Development Center’s Career Ready Seminar Series aims to provide targeted programming to help IUP students gain and understand the necessary skills and competencies to be successful in life after graduation. Representatives from East Penn Manufacturing, a spring 2022 Career Ready Seminar Series Employer sponsor, will also be in attendance to network with students and share employment opportunities.
Thompson, who is presenting and also helped to coordinate the event, stated, “I am really looking forward to talking with students about two very vital career topics, interviewing and salary negotiation. We have heard over the years that students really value learning about these practical topics, so we are excited to be offering this program that we know all students from all majors can benefit from attending.”
