On Friday, September 24, 2021, the Department of Chemistry, Biochemistry, Physics and Engineering hosted a presentation by Jason Stack from the Duquesne University School of Pharmacy to students interested in pharmacy school. During his visit, he outlined interesting and diverse career opportunities that can emerge after a Pharm.D. degree from Duquesne University. In addition to hospital and retail pharmacy, Mr. Stack detailed several exciting opportunities for pharmacy students in research, drug development, nuclear pharmacy and community wellness.
Duquesne is the 2nd-ranked Catholic school of pharmacy and has a 99% job placement rate over the last 20 years. IUP is in the process of finalizing a formal articulation agreement with the Duquesne School of Pharmacy. Students interested in pharmacy schools should contact Dr. Ron See for more information.
