Parker Bradley, an undergraduate in the Madia Department of Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Physics, was named one of the Top 10 Undergraduate Poster Presenters at the Central Regional Meeting of the American Chemical Society, held on November 8 in Pittsburgh.

His award-winning poster, “Photochemical Studies of Anticancer Ruthenium-Platinum Bimetallic Complex Adsorbed on Montmorillonite Clay,” highlights the development of a photoactivated anticancer ruthenium-platinum bimetallic complex adsorbed on montmorillonite clay. This innovative study highlights the potential of metal-based compounds in cancer treatment.

This work was conducted under the mentorship of Avijita Jain, a distinguished professor in the CBP Department.
