IUP Comm Media faculty member Jeremy Waltman recently directed The Veteran, which was invited to preview at the Nordkapp Filmfestival in Norway on September 14, 2023.
The movie is about a struggling magician and his successful sister reconciling their father's military legacy.
The Veteran is a love letter to vet family members and celebrates the art of magic and cinema. It also shows the dark humor of those directly affected by PTSD, and how art can help us navigate our day-to-day.
