Virtual Escape Room
Whodunnit? Can you get out? Where's the next clue hiding?
Check out a brand new virtual escape room with STATIC. We'll provide the expert host, clues and hints, immersive room, and everything you need to have a blast. All you have to bring is yourself and some friends!
In order to join in on the fun via Zoom on Tuesday, September 15, fill out the registration form. Enter your name, IUP email (4 letters), Banner ID, and cell phone (so that we can contact you if you don't show up on time). Also, select a preferred time to escape, either the 5:00 p.m. session or the 9:00 p.m. session.
Space is limited to 25 people max per session; STATIC will contact you with your final confirmation of participation and time. Event open to IUP students only.
Important: You must arrive 15 minutes early. If you are not on time, your seat will be given to someone else on the event waitlist.

Netflix & Chill: The King of Staten Island (Virtual)
On Thursday, September 17, STATIC hosts a Netflix & Chill movie night featuring The King of Staten Island. Event begins at 8:00 p.m.
In The King of Staten Island, “Scott (Pete Davidson) has been a case of arrested development since his firefighter dad died. He spends his days making bad choices and dreaming of being a tattoo artist until events force him to grapple with his grief and take his first steps forward in life.”

STATIC will ask various pieces of Pete Davidson trivia, with the winner taking home an autographed poster of Pete Davidson.

Are you passionate about writing, drawing, poetry, and other creative outlets? Need a way to blow off some steam and express yourself? Have some great ideas for different prompts throughout the fall 2020 semester? Don't think anyone's listening to you?
Share them with STATIC on its semester-long Collaborative Creativity Board, hosted on Google Slides.
The board officially launches at noon on Tuesday, September 8, and will remain active until the end of the fall 2020 semester on Friday, December 11.
To submit your pieces of poetry, creative writing, artwork, or responses to various prompts, send them via email to STATICatIUP@gmail.com. Then, STATIC staff will moderate and anonymize each submission (based on your preferences) and then publish to the Google Drive document.
