The world has been facing some major challenges that impact the ways in which groups come together and operate. Group workers have become innovative during these unprecedented times. The Association for Specialists in Group Work's Special Initiatives Committee created a document offering 10 tips for the facilitation of virtual groups.
This tip sheet was co-authored by IUP Department of Counseling faculty member Lorraine J. Guth and Clinical Mental Health Counseling students Emily Pepper and Jessica Garrow. The document is designed to provide useful considerations for educators, clinicians, and students to help with the facilitation of virtual group work.
