The National Centers of Academic Excellence (CAE) in Cybersecurity Virtual Career Fair will take place on September 27, 2019. Based on data from previous years, students/alumni from CAE-designated institutions come from a variety of disciplines, including cybersecurity, computer science, engineering, math, physics, and project management, to name a few. In addition, previous data indicates participants come from all different levels of educational attainment looking for internships, part-time, temporary, and full time job placements.

Last year, over 1,200 job seekers attended the National CAE in Cybersecurity Virtual Career Fair, sponsored by CyberWatch West and the National Science Foundation. This year, with over 6,000 graduates seeking jobs in cybersecurity, the number of registrants is expected to grow, as institutions designated as CAEs by the National Security Agency and Department of Homeland Security increased to 274 across the nation.
