The National Cybersecurity Training and Education Center (NCyTE) is hosting a Cybersecurity Fellowship Program for students or recent graduates who are interested in teaching in a community college setting.

The program will prepare participants for a career path in education, with instruction on creating syllabi and lesson plans, leading a classroom, and much more.

Program Schedule

  • NCyTE Cybersecurity Fellowship Orientation (4 hours)
  • Microsoft 21st Century Skills: Classroom Management, Methods, and Pedagogy Workshop (16 hours)
  • Cybersecurity Fundamentals Bootcamp: Security+ (32 hours)
  • Teaching Assistant Assignment (60 hours)

Eligibility Requirements

  1. Must be a college student with senior standing or have graduated within the last year.
  2. Program of study (or degree) must be bachelor's or master's in cybersecurity.
  3. Must not have a formal teacher education or teaching experience.

Stipends

  • Participants will received a stipend of up to $4,500 based on successful achievement of program milestones.
