The COEC Diversity and Inclusion Standing Committee (DISC) is happy to announce that the Diversity and Inclusion D2L Resource Page has be updated.
DISC will continue to make this resource a more effective tool for the COEC. The content includes resources broken into categories: race and ethnicity, gender and sex, socioeconomic status, etc. We hope that these resources aid COEC faculty and staff in empowering themselves and empowering our students.
Our plan is to publish teaching ideas and activities, interactive discussion boards, and more in spring 2022. As you begin to prepare your syllabi for Spring courses, we encourage you to browse the "Syllabus Planning" Module to aid you in crafting culturally inclusive syllabi.
Please send any diversity-related teaching activities for consideration for inclusion on our D2L resources page as well as any questions, comments, or concerns to coec-diversity@iup.edu.
