Preparation is the first step in responding to an emergency. By participating in the following trainings, students not only protect themselves but also help create a safer community for everyone.

The following trainings will be held for students during the week of March 3, 2025.

March 3: Stop the Bleed

This training is a course designed to teach individuals how to respond to and stop severe bleeding in emergency situations.

March 4: Narcan and Fire Safety

A session on Narcan, focusing on its importance in combating opioid overdoses. Also, a fire safety hands-on experience using a fire extinguisher simulator. Will cover essential information about the dangers posed by lithium-ion battery fires from devices such as e-scooters, laptops, and cellphones.

March 5: Hands-Only CPR and AED Training

Hands-only CPR and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) training is an essential skill for anyone, as it can save lives during emergencies like cardiac arrest.

March 6: Active Shooter

A discussion on the topic of Active Shooter scenarios, including preparedness and response strategies.
