How to Plan a Successful Event

  • What follows are general guidelines for planning an Indiana University of Pennsylvania event. We recognize that all events are unique and thus will have different needs, but all events should go through the same basic step-by-step planning whether the event is a first-time event or celebrating its 100th year. Events just don’t happen—they are carefully thought-out plans requiring diligent focus and demanding, detailed work.

If you have any questions and would like the Office of University Events to help you in your planning, please contact us at 724-357-2145. Our staff will be happy to assist you with your event details. You will need to submit a Request for Services form.
