How Does Summer Care Work?

    Summer care: Monday, May 26, to Friday, August 7, (closed weekends, Memorial Day, and Independence Day) 

    RN Consultation is available 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. with limited services. Please call 724-357-2550 prior to coming in to the Health Service. 

    Appointments with a provider are limited. Please call 724-357-2550 for information about a telehealth appointment or face-to-face visit with a nurse practitioner. 

    All summer health charges are based upon the services needed by each student. There are no mandatory Wellness Fees charged for summer. Students must have a valid IUP Banner account and be registered for current summer or future fall credits to be eligible for care during the summer. Students who have graduated are no longer eligible to receive clinical services. Most care is provided on a “per visit” cost of $35.

    Self-Care Cold Center medications and Self-Care Wound Clinic Supplies are available at no cost for registered students.

     Vaccinations (Tdap, Meningitis)
    $35 Tdap, Meningitis Free
     Physicals $35

    No money is asked for or collected at the Health Service. All fees incurred are billed through the IUP Bursar’s office.

    • Fall Wellness Fee coverage begins August 17.
    • Regular fall hours begin Monday, August 24, 2020.
