Making you comfortable in your campus home is not one-size-fits-all, so we give you lots of options.
Choose from a variety of suites, Living Learning Communities, different price points, and some fresh housing options—like choosing to room together with someone of another gender. Older students also have a new option—Upper Division housing, which allows students 21 and older to responsibly have limited amounts of alcohol in their rooms.
Sign up for housing as quickly as possible—options are limited and fill up quickly, so act fast!
At IUP, you’ll enjoy some of the most comfortable housing accommodations on any college or university campus. We offer four to six different styles of living units, depending on the building, and Living Learning Communities that make your experience even better. If you want some help deciding, just contact the Office of Housing, Residential Living, and Dining. We'll be happy to help you sort through your many options and find your campus home.
Note: Before you can sign up for housing, you need to make your tuition deposit.

Experience the Suites on Our Virtual Tour
All of our residence halls have what you need to be cozy and comfortable. In addition to the basics, like wifi, you'll find indoor bicycle storage, and laundry and trash facilities on each floor of most buildings.
Unlike some colleges, our rooms are carpeted. The suites, which include bathrooms, are equipped with microwaves and refrigerators, saving you money.
Whitmyre Hall, the home of the Cook Honors College, is set up as a traditional-style residence hall with a bathroom on each wing, rather than in suites.
The Upper Division Community, located in the Suites on Pratt on the first and second floors, allows students 21 years old and older to have
a limited amount of alcohol in their room.
Note: This information applies to the Indiana main campus. See housing information about the Punxsutawney campus if you are going to attend IUP Punxsutawney. The Northpointe campus does not offer housing.
