  • Live Mail Email for Alumni and Retirees

    IUP alumni and retirees can request an IUP Live Mail account.

    The Live Mail account is set up through Microsoft Office 365. Live Mail accounts do not have access to the Office 365 software (Word, Excel, etc).  

    Retired Employees

    Retired employees can request to be added to the Retired Employee Directory Service. This is a list of personal email addresses of IUP’s retired employees. If a retiree has a Live Mail account, this is automatically added to the Directory Service.

  • Auxmail Migration to Live Mail Service

    In an effort to enhance IUP’s IT Security posture, IUP’s legacy (Auxmail) email service will be converted to IUP’s Live Mail email service. To prepare for this conversion, an email was sent to all users with an Auxmail account asking if they would like a new Live Mail account.

    • March 12, 2021: Deadline for users to complete a web form regarding this conversion. The link to the web form will be send via the email notification. Retirees have two options regarding this:
      • Convert your Auxmail email account to the new Live Mail email account
      • Delete your Auxmail email account as you no longer use it.
    • User will also have to option to have a non-Live Mail address added to the Retiree Directory Service. All Live Mail addresses are automatically added.
    • March 29, 2021: New Live Mail accounts will be created for all retirees requesting the new email services. An initial migration of Auxmail email messages to this new Live Mail email account will be completed.
    • Between March 29 and June 7, 2021: On a nightly basis, new email sent to a user’s Auxmail account will be migrated to the new Live Mail account.
      • During this time, retirees will need to notify their contacts of the new email address. The format will be instead of
    • June 7, 2021: All Auxmail accounts will be removed from the system. The nightly migration of email will stop. Email sent to the email address or will no longer be delivered.
