Christina Huhn, Department of Foreign Languages, has co-authored an article titled "Issues in world language teacher preparation: ACTFL/CAEP standards and oral proficiency."
The article provides a review of current research on model teacher preparation programs and teacher oral proficiency, as well as a look at future directions for research in these areas. The article lays the foundation for future research on effective world language (WL) teacher preparation programs as we face issues of teacher shortages and declining enrollments.
The full article is available here (IUP Library holds this journal).
