The IUP Libraries invites you to join us from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 22, to hear Chef Joy Parham-Thomas discuss techniques for mindful eating to help manage stress in these trying times.
Parham-Thomas is a graduate of the IUP Culinary Arts program with 15 years experience in the industry, and also earned a degree in Hospitality Management from IUP in 2011. She is known as an educator, an advocate for food pathways and food equality, and has been a finalist on Hell's Kitchen. She has also been featured in various media outlets and publications such as Good Day Fox and Men's Health journal.
