On Thursday, November 18, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. the University Museum in Sutton Hall will present exhibition curator Rhonda Yeager, Special Collections Librarian and University Archivist Harrison Wick, and Historical and Genealogical Society of Indiana County director Jonathan Bogert to discuss the Museum's current exhibition, Maps: An Experience in Finding Our Way.
Yeager, one of the curators of the exhibition, will delve into the overarching theme of the show, which was a collaborative effort between several IUP academic departments, IUP Libraries, the University Museum, local artists, and the historical society. Wick and Bogert both provided vital assistance by lending artifacts and maps for the display, and both will discuss those items as part of the evening's presentation.
This event is free and open to the public. According to IUP’s COVID-19 Response Plan, face coverings/masks are to be worn indoors in public spaces at all campuses and centers for all persons, regardless of an individual’s COVID-19 vaccination status. Parking is available on and off campus. Please telephone 724-357-2787 (ARTS) or email museum-info@iup.edu with questions.
