The University Museum at Indiana University of Pennsylvania is proud to present Alumni Artistry: The Aesthetic Legacy of IUP, an art exhibition that celebrates 150 years of creative excellence at IUP. Featuring works from alumni artists across the nation, this show highlights the enduring artistic contributions of those who have been part of the IUP community.“Grow In Darkness” by Charlotte Smith is a black and white photograph depicting a closed door and lit street lamp. Lights glow from within the building.

The public is invited to join us for a special opening reception on Saturday, January 25, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the University Museum in Sutton Hall. Guests will have an opportunity to explore the exhibition, connect with others who share an appreciation for the arts, and reflect on the university’s rich artistic history as it marks its 150th anniversary. Several of the alumni artists featured in the exhibition will be in attendance, offering an opportunity to meet the creators and learn more about their work.

Alumni Artistry brings together diverse works that represent the creativity, innovation, and talent of IUP alumni, making it a cornerstone event in this milestone year. It’s a chance to not only honor the university’s past but also to inspire future generations of artists and art enthusiasts.
