IUP music alumni, George Alberti '11, Mike Waddell '12, Zack Grass '14, and Logan Carnes '19, released album Keystone Kitchen, an album of new works for tuba-euphonium quartet, in June 2024.

Keystone Kitchen AlbumKeystone Kitchen is the second album by the Keystone Quartet, which formed in 2019. The album features eight new compositions commissioned by the ensemble. Four of the composers featured on the album also have IUP ties: Jim Self '65, Zach Collins (Professor of Tuba and Euphonium), Grass, and Carnes. The album was recorded in Gorell Hall on the IUP campus and produced by Collins. The album is organized around the concept of a potluck meal with each composer being asked to "bring something to the disc." 

The members of Keystone Quartet work in the music industry. Alberti is Instructor of Tuba and Euphonium at Eastern Illinois University, Waddell is Assistant Professor of Music at Longwood University, Grass builds brass instruments with the S.E. Shires Company, and Carnes is Director of Bands at McDowell High School in Erie.
