Zach Collins, professor of tuba and euphonium at IUP, recently published four new compositions with Cimarron Music Press.

Collins wrote two pieces for the Keystone Quartet, an ensemble composed of IUP alumni. The ensemble recorded Appalachian Trail Overture (YouTube) on their first album, Sweet Appalachia, released in 2022. The Keystone Quartet followed up that album with Keystone Kitchen, released in June 2024. That album includes Collins’s composition, Stages of Caffeination (YouTube).

In addition to those pieces, Collins composed It’s Just More Fun… Being Together for the 2022 International Euphonium Tuba Festival in Atlanta, GA. His arrangement of Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing (YouTube) was included in the recent album Firm Foundation (YouTube) by the tuba quintet, QuinTuba, of which Collins is a member.

All four compositions are now available from Cimarron Music Press.
