During the COVID-19 pandemic, IUP is looking to limit the number of people on campus to keep our community safe. If you need to visit campus, you probably have questions about the size of gatherings, face coverings, and more.
Health and safety information about pay-by-space machines and IndiGO bus service is available on the Campus Health and Safety page.
Nonessential visits, volunteering opportunities, and other activities involving external groups or organizations should be limited. All face-to-face gatherings must follow relevant guidelines and policies. Read more about major campus events, such as
Orientation, Admissions events, and conferences on our Campus Events and Student Life page.
IUP is following all relevant guidelines set by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. If you are interested in a specific summer camp, celebration, or conference held on IUP's campus, please reach out directly to that event's organizers for any details.
All employees, students, and visitors to campus are required to wear face coverings, such as masks, when in buildings or vehicles owned or leased by IUP. When outside, face coverings are required when it is not possible to maintain a safe distance from
others. Read more on the Campus Health and Safety page. Event organizers will have masks available for attendees as needed.
Our dining facilities are set up to maintain social distancing, with simplified menus and less movement around the dining hall. Read more on our Dining on Campus page.
Visitors to campus should keep in mind that the COVID-19 pandemic has forced us to modify the way our campus operates. Each building will have sanitation stations available. Visitors will also see signage at each entrance and in hallways to remind them
about safety guidelines. Read more about our on-campus operations on the Campus Health and Safety page.
