Indiana University of Pennsylvania will host a Chinese New Year celebration Jan. 25 from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Allegheny Room of the Hadley Union Building.
The program is free and open to the community. Parking in the Hadley Union Building parking lot is free on weekends.
Activities planned for the event include a dragon dance, Peking opera, learning about Chinese zodiac, calligraphy and name translations, and Chinese food and games.
The event will be hosted by IUP's Chinese Student Association, Malaysian Student Association, Taiwanese Student Association, Office of International Education and Office of Social Equity.
