Damilola Odusanya, a student in the Indiana University of Pennsylvania criminology master's program, has received a grant from the Institute of International Education designed to help international students continue their studies through the coronavirus pandemic.
The IIE scholarship requires an application from the home institution and is awarded to a very limited number of qualified students throughout the United States. IUP's Office of International Education has been successful in securing scholarships for four IUP international students since March.
Odusanya, a 2016 graduate of Babcock University, is from Abuja, Nigeria. While at IUP, she has volunteered for the Into the Streets community service program and for the Indiana Community Garden.
