Two town halls will be held in Fisher Auditorium to present updates on the new tuition affordability plan, finances, enrollment, and operationalizing the strategic plan. The town halls will take place on Tuesday, March 29, and Tuesday, April 12, during the Common Hour at 11:30 a.m.
The first town hall, to be held on March 29, will include an update on IUP’s new Tuition Affordability Plan, along with enrollment and financial updates. Panelists will include Michael Driscoll, IUP president; Debra Fitzsimons, vice president for Administration and Finance; Patricia McCarthy, vice president for Enrollment Management; and Chris Noah, chief marketing officer.
The second town hall, to be held on April 12, will focus on bringing the IUP Strategic Plan to life. Panelists will include President Driscoll; Lara Luetkehans, interim provost and vice president of Academic Affairs; as well as Paula Stossel and Scott Moore, co-chairs of the University Planning Council and the Strategic Plan Implementation Committee.
Audience members in Fisher Auditorium can ask questions on these presentations and other topics. Refreshments will be available after each town hall for all employees.
For employees who are unable to attend in person, the session will be streamed via Zoom. However, employees watching the livestream will not be able to ask questions.
If you plan to participate in person, no registration is required. If you will attend via Zoom, please register in advance. A recording and transcript of each town hall will be available after the event.
In addition to these employee-focused town halls, the university is also planning an event to update its students on these topics in mid-April. More details will be shared with IUP students at the beginning of the month.
