What's a book that means a lot to you?

The Time Machine, by H. G. Wells, is part of the Rare Book Collection at the IUP Special Collections and University Archives in Stapleton Library, Room 302. This work is often cited as the first depiction of time travel. The Time Machine is a post-apocalyptic work of science fiction that has been adapted into two movies. It takes the time traveler from Victorian England to the year 802,701, where he encounters the futuristic dichotomy of society between the Eloi and the Morlocks. 

Since 2007, Harrison Wick has served as the Special Collections librarian and university archivist in the IUP Libraries. His work includes assisting researchers utilizing primary sources relevant to university history, as well as to the history of Pennsylvania.
