Work is almost completed for Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s PNC Bank to move to its new location at IUP’s Crimson Café on March 25.

The transition of the branch from the Hadley Union Building to the new location was announced in December 2023. The branch at the HUB will remain open for its established hours through 3:00 p.m. on March 22.

PNC’s automated teller machine (ATM) at the entrance to the HUB and the ATM at the Memorial Field House will remain in service. The ATMs inside the HUB and in Stapleton Libraries will be removed and with a new ATM will be in service at the Crimson Café next to the branch location.

PNC at the Crimson Café will be open Mondays through Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

“The location change is designed to provide more accessibility to banking services,” Associate Vice President for Finance William Buttz said. “Crimson Café and the surrounding buildings, including the IUP libraries and Clark Hall, has a great deal of foot traffic. PNC continues to be an excellent partner with IUP, sharing our goal of being student-centered,” he said.

PNC officials will host a grand opening for the Crimson Café branch location during the week of August 26, but welcome everyone to stop by the new location at the Crimson Café location during the week of March 25.

“PNC and IUP have already partnered together for more than 20 years helping thousands of students and employees across campus,” said Nichole Hagan, senior vice president, PNC Bank. “We’re beyond excited to move into our new location and continue empowering IUP with the products, tools, and resources they need to reach their financial goals.”
