Join New York Times bestselling author, screenwriter, and Indiana native Tawni O’Dell for an informal talk about her journey from small-town girl to internationally acclaimed novelist. Tawni will discuss the highs and lows of a writing career that includes years of rejection letters, a fateful phone call from Oprah Winfrey, and the thrill when Hollywood came knocking.
She will also offer her personal insights into the unique obstacles faced by female writers and the perseverance needed to succeed in the arts. There will be a Q&A after the presentation.
