For all PASSHE employees who elected to receive their 2020 W2 form online in ESS, the form is now available to view, print, and/or save.
Please note: As an extra security measure, the system will request your Social Security number in order to authenticate the access.
There may be a display issue with Google Chrome. Please follow the steps below in Internet Explorer to ensure complete functionality.
- Log in to the PASSHE Employee Self Service portal.
- If you experience problems logging in to ESS, please review the Employee Self Service (ESS) FAQ page.
- Click on the Employee Self Service tab, then the Payroll hyperlink, then the Display W-2 form hyperlink.
- Select the appropriate year from the Forms W2/W2-c.
- Your form, as well as links to instructions and information, will be displayed in the lower window. If it does not open automatically please click the arrow to open the tab.
- If you need additional assistance, further instructions are available under the Help Documents tab, Display W2 Form.
- If you are using a shared computer, please be sure to log out of your ESS session and close your browser window when you are finished reviewing your data.
For all PASSHE employees who did not make an election or chose not to display the W-2 form electronically in ESS, paper W-2 forms will be mailed next week from Harrisburg, Pa. to the last address on file in the payroll system.
- Retired or separated employee records will automatically receive a paper copy of the W-2 form to their last address on file in the payroll system.
Requests for reprints or reissued 2020 W-2s will not be processed until March 1, 2021. This allows our staff to re-direct any forms that were returned to our office via the US Postal Service.
