August 7 is Purple Heart Day. This day is identified to honor the over 1.8 million American military veterans who were awarded the Purple Heart, one of our country's oldest military decorations, for being injured or killed in service to our country.
The IUP Public Safety Department wants to thank our veterans and their families for their sacrifices for our freedom.
