You are invited to a memorial observance on September 11, 2009, marking the eighth anniversary of the 2001 terrorist attacks upon the United States.
This memorial event will begin at 8:30 a.m. and will be held in the Oak Grove in front of the September 11 monument and artifact. In case of inclement weather, the event will be held in Gorell Recital Hall.
The program will include reflections offered by Ms. Alyssa Stiles, Student Government Association president, and myself. The ceremony also will include a remembrance of the three IUP alumni lost in the World Trade Center attack.
