I am sorry to tell you of the passing of Chance A. Williams, 20, a senior nursing major from Bedford, on Tuesday, April 4.
Friends will be received on Thursday, April 6, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, 214 South Juliana St., Bedford. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 7, at 11:00 a.m. at the Bedford Presbyterian Church, 145 South Juliana Street, Bedford, with burial at Bedford Cemetery. The death of someone you knew can evoke strong feelings. The best way to cope is to talk to your closest friends, family members, or trusted teachers. There are people among us who have experienced similar events, and they are often more than willing to help others going through difficult circumstances.
Students who would like to speak with a counselor may call 724-357-2621 or visit the Counseling Center in the Center for Health and Well-Being, Suites on Maple East. Walk-in hours at the Counseling Center today are from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Counselors will be available for crisis appointments and consultation and to offer guidance and support during difficult times.
