I am saddened to tell you of the passing of a former member of the IUP community, David Burdette.
David served IUP as the vice president of Administration and Finance from March 2006 to January 2007. During his time here, he was active in the community, including serving in a leadership position with the United Way of Indiana County.
For the last three years, David worked as interim chief facilities officer at Murray State University.
Services will be held at the Southwest Virginia Veteran's Cemetery, Dublin, Virginia, on February 9, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations in Mr. Burdette's name can be made to the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery for the Cemetery Beautification Program or the Wreath Program.
