I am saddened to tell you of the passing of one of our students, Austin Grupp, following a vehicle accident on December 29.
Austin, 21, a sophomore business major from Renfrew, Pa., was a member of the IUP rugby team.
Friends will be received from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 3, at the Boylan Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Connoquenessing Township, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 4, at Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road, Butler. Burial will follow at English Lutheran Church Cemetery, South Oliver Avenue, Zelienople.

The death of someone you knew can evoke strong feelings. The best way to cope is to talk to your closest friends, family members, or trusted teachers. There are people among us who have experienced similar events, and they are often more than willing to help others going through difficult circumstances.
