On every anniversary of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, the IUP community takes time to reflect on those events that changed our world forever.
It's an opportunity to mourn those we lost, to remember the efforts of those who helped us recover, and to consider how we all were affected—and continue to be—by that tragic day.
Please join us Friday, September 11, 2020, as we gather to mark the 19th anniversary of the life-changing events of September 11, 2001.
The program will take place at 8:35 a.m. in front of the 9/11 memorial in the Oak Grove.
Guests may attend this event in the Oak Grove but must wear masks and adhere to social-distancing guidelines.
If you are unable to attend in person, a live stream of the event will be available here: IUP September 11 remembrance ceremony, 2020. More information about the live stream will be provided on the IUP website and in IUP Daily. A recording of the event also will be made available.
