The following message was sent to all students on Tuesday, August 20, 2024.

I wish you well as you begin your fall semester at IUP! We are very excited to welcome all students to IUP, regardless of which campus you call home.  I’d like to tell you about the many resources available to support your success.

Every student (Everyone! All students at all locations and levels) has Navigator. Your Navigator is a professional full-time staff member who is a resource and first point of contact for you for the entirety of your IUP journey, from acceptance through graduation.

You can reach out to your Navigator with any and all questions (including but not limited to financial aid, student billing, registration, health service, commuting, being an off-campus student or remote learner, accessing and using D2L, buying books, applying for graduation, and more). Your Navigator will also reach out to you frequently with important resources, dates, and deadlines to help ensure your success at IUP—and to see how you are doing.

Your Navigator is listed in MyIUP. You can reach them via a quick email or phone call, or visit them online via Zoom or in person in the University College (B01 Stabley Library).

Technology Issues

Are you experiencing technology issues? You may submit an ihelp ticket or visit the Virtual IT Support Center to get live assistance via Zoom.

Class Schedule Questions?

Students should always look to their Academic Advisor with questions regarding course selection. You can also utilize the Advising Center in B02 Stabley Library from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Feel free to walk in or email the Center at advising-center@iup.edu. Zoom meetings or phone consultations can be arranged.

Remember, we are here to help, and no question is too small or large. Best wishes for a successful fall semester. Go Hawks!

Sincerely,

Amber Racchini
